Trustra is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Controller

This website is operated as a personal startup project. The responsible party (controller) within the meaning of GDPR is:

Project: Trustra Protocol
Website: trustra.network
Contact: info@trustra.network

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect data that you voluntarily provide:

  • Email address — when you join our waitlist
  • Timestamp — date and time of registration
  • Source — which page you signed up from (e.g. "landing")

We do not collect: names, IP addresses, device information, browsing behavior, or any wallet addresses without your explicit action.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

We process your email address based on:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your explicit consent given when joining the waitlist

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@trustra.network.

4. Purpose of Processing

Your email address is used exclusively to:

  • Notify you when Trustra launches
  • Send you early access information
  • Communicate important updates about the protocol

We will never sell, share, or use your email for advertising or third-party marketing.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a serverless database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA).

Cloudflare processes data in accordance with GDPR. Data transfer to the US is governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Retention Period

We retain your email address until:

  • You request deletion, or
  • The project is discontinued, or
  • 12 months after the waitlist closes — whichever comes first

7. Cookies

We use only essential, functional cookies — no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Specifically:

  • cookie_consent — stores your cookie preference (expires: 1 year)

No third-party cookies are set on this website.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your data (Art. 15)

  • Objection — object to processing (Art. 21)
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without consequence

To exercise any right, contact us at: info@trustra.network

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. No Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
